This policy explains how MKF Property Services Limited collects, uses and protects personal data through mkf.ie. How the website uses cookies is set out in our Cookie Policy.

2. What we collect and why
We only collect the personal data you choose to send us, plus limited technical data needed to run and secure the website. We do not sell personal data or use it for automated decision-making.

Job applications
CVs often include more than we need. Please do not send special category data (for example health, religion or ethnicity) or your PPS number, bank details or date of birth. If we shortlist you, we will explain how we handle any further information at that stage. If you would like us to keep your CV on file beyond 12 months for future roles, tell us and we will ask for your consent.
3. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf under a written contract, and only as far as they need to provide their service:
- Website hosting provider, which stores the website and its database, including a copy of each form submission.
- Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, whose Simple Email Service sends the emails our website forms generate.
- Email and IT service provider, which stores our email, including form submissions sent to info@mkf.ie.
- Google Ireland Limited, for Google Analytics (only if you consent to analytics cookies).
- Design Minds, our website design and maintenance agency, which may access the website back end to maintain and secure it.
We may also disclose personal data to our professional advisers (such as solicitors or accountants), or where required by law, a court order or a regulator such as An Garda Síochána or the Data Protection Commission.
International transfers
We aim to keep personal data within the European Economic Area (EEA). Google may process analytics data in the United States. Where data leaves the EEA, we rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses to keep it protected to EU standards.
4. Keeping your data safe
The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and protected by a firewall and malware scanning. Access to form submissions and the website back end is limited to authorised staff and our website agency, using individual accounts.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR and the Data Protection Acts 1988 to 2018 you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted where we no longer need it;
- restrict or object to our use of your data, including where we rely on legitimate interests;
- receive data you gave us in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, for example by changing your cookie settings. This does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
To use any of these rights, email info@mkf.ie. We will reply within one month, free of charge, and may ask you to confirm your identity first.
6. Complaints
